DOVER – Terry R. "Buddy" Grendell, 76, entered into rest Sunday morning, October 22, 2023 at his home.  He was the loving husband of Sue (Witman) Grendell.  The couple celebrated 54 years of marriage on May 31, 2023.

Born March 24, 1947 in York, he was a son of the late Ellis and Edith (Hinkle) Grendell.

Terry served in the U.S. Army.  He had been employed by FES and was also a self-employed barber.

In addition to his wife, Terry is survived by two children, Victoria A. Grendell of Dover and Joseph T. Grendell and wife, Amy of Shiloh; five grandchildren, Valori, Steven, Thomas, Abbriannah and Skylar; five great grandchildren, Jude, Millee, Ellianni, Luella and Myles with one on the way; and a brother, Barry Grendell of Florida.  He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Andrew; and sister, Kathy Anderson.

Following cremation, services will be at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc. in Dover.
