Theodore E. Rauhauser
DOVER – Theodore E. Rauhauser, 86, entered into rest at 7:09 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at SpiriTrust Lutheran – Village at Sprenkle Drive. He was the loving husband of Nancy I. (Grim) Rauhauser. The couple celebrated 61 years of marriage on November 28, 2020.
Born June 26, 1934 in Dover Township, Theodore was a son of the late Theodore A. and Lillian D. (Meinke) Rauhauser.
He graduated from Dover High School in 1952 and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Theodore was owner of B&H Glass in York. He had also worked for Brown’s Glass, Carl Cook Auto Sales and he and his brother-in-law Earl Orner had an auto body shop.
Theodore was a member of Quickel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Weigelstown Lions Club and Dover Jaycees.
In addition to his wife Nancy, he is survived by a son, Gregory Rauhauser of Downingtown; a daughter, Angela Sutton and husband, Vince of York; 3 step-grandsons, Christopher Rauhauser, Vinnie and Nick Sutton; and a sister, Marla Peters of Dillsburg.
Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Theodore’s memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Quickel Lutheran Church, 60 Canal Rd. Ext., York.
