Todd A. Gusler

YORK – Todd A. Gusler, 48, entered into rest on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at his home. 

Born April 24, 1977 in Fort Belvoir, VA, he was a son of Charles A. Gusler of York and Linda (Bennett) Alley of Dover. 

Todd graduated from Dover Area high school in 1995, where he was a four year varsity soccer player, member of the diving team and band.  He went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from California University of Pennsylvania.

Todd was very tech savvy and worked for Slipstream IT.  He was an ambassador for Govee and enjoyed gaming, especially the VR game, Second Life.  Todd was an eclectic, fun-loving guy who had a great sense of humor.  He had a special appreciation for animals and plants and loved all types of music from Industrial to the rat pack years of Sinatra. His favorite holiday was Halloween.

In addition to his parents, Todd is survived by his step-mother, Sharon Gusler of York; step-father, Brian Alley of Dover; uncle, Bill Gusler of Reno, NV; and uncle and aunt, Joe and Suzanne Moyer of Boston, MA.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Todd’s graveside service at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025 in Salem Union Cemetery, 2705 W. Canal Rd., Dover.  Officiating will be the Reverend Abigail Leese, pastor of Calvary Lutheran Church, Dover.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
