Troy A. Updike

DOVER – Troy A. Updike, 59, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023.

Born May 24, 1964 in York, Troy was a son of the late Rodrick L. and Charlotte L. (Ruppert) Updike.

He worked for New Cumberland Army Depot for many years and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and helping work on sprint cars. He was most proud of his cross country trip on his motorcycle to Sturgis, SD.

Troy was the loving father of Allison Rosengrant (Brett) and Harley Updike (Devan). In addition to his children, he is survived by his four grandchildren, Reed, Callie, Graham, and Isla, whom he enjoyed spending his time with most. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Harbold and brother, Rick Updike.  He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Mario Updike. 

Services will be private with burial in Salem Union Cemetery, Dover.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York Association of the Deaf, 208 N. George St., York, PA 17401.
