Vickey J. Altland

DOVER – Vickey June Altland, 59, entered into rest at 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at her home.  She was the loving wife of Cleason L. Altland, Jr.  The couple celebrated 43 years of marriage on January 28, 2021.

Born August 10, 1962 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Betty (Sims) Boyd.

Vickey was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, cleaning and going to yard sales.  She also enjoyed cooking and liked watching the Food Network and trying new recipes.  Above all, Vickey absolutely adored her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Steven Altland and wife, Jennifer, Troy Altland and Brandon Altland, all of Newberry Township; ten grandchildren, Steven, Aaron, Cody, Isaac, Makenzie, Riley, Charity, Owen and Giadah Altland and Logan Gladfelter; a great grandchild on the way; and three sisters-in-law, Virginia Hollerbush and husband, Michael, Mary Jane Delp and husband, Dave and Julie Gladfelter, all of Dover.

Services for Vickey will be private at the convenience of the family.  Interment will take place in Tri-County Memorial Gardens in Lewisberry.  Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover, is serving her family.
