Vincent C.H. Pressel, Jr.
DOVER – Vincent C.H. Pressel, Jr., 78, entered into rest at 3:43 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at his home. He was the loving husband of Janice E. (Dubs) Pressel. The couple celebrated 57 years of marriage on August 13, 2024.
Born December 12, 1946 in York, Vincent was a son of the late Vincent C.H. Pressel and Isabel Leona (Williams) Pressel Laughman and step son of the late John R. Laughman, Sr.
He graduated from Spring Grove High School in 1965 and he was a self-employed electrician since 1973. Vincent previously worked for Met-Ed and Thomas Wiring.
He attended Church of the Open Door, Viking Athletic Association and Shiloh American Legion Post 791. Vincent enjoyed being outdoors, whether it be golfing, fishing, hunting or camping and took pride in keeping his vehicles clean.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, David V. Pressel and wife, Leslie of Dover, Matthew S. Pressel and wife, Ginger of Waynesville, NC and Nathan P. Pressel and wife, Kelly of Belle Vernon; eight grandchildren, Abigail Pressel, Connor Pressel, Emily Bupp(Cameron), Peyton Pressel, Hayden Pressel, Ty Pressel, Delaney Pressel and Jackson Pressel; great grandson, Clyde R. Bupp; step-sister, Annamay Horn of Red Lion; step-brother, John Laughman, Jr. of Spring Grove; and a large extended family.
Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the service to celebrate Vincent’s life at 11 a.m. and the visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Church of the Open Door, 8 Carlisle Court, York. Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Robert Riedy. A luncheon will follow at the church.
