Virginia Rebecca (Grim) Rebert, 83, of White Hall, MD, peacefully passed from this life on Saturday, August 13, 2022 while surrounded by her family. Born December 23, 1938 in Conewago Township, she was the youngest daughter of the late Charles and Annie (Fink) Grim. Virginia had many roles and titles throughout her life. Virginia, often referred to as Becky by her friends and family, was also lovingly known as Mom, Gram, and Grammy. Becky was the wife of the late Lucian Rebert with whom she shared 57 years of marriage prior to his death in 2017. Together, they devoted their time to family. They enjoyed spoiling their grandchildren, hosting holidays and family dinners, attending school and sporting events, and celebrating every milestone.

Becky will be remembered for her ability to find big joy in the small things in life; She enjoyed gardening, baking, QVC purchases, country western music, Fitzkees Candies, chatting with her friends on her front porch, and her daily phone calls with her sister. Becky always had a story to tell and could socialize with anyone. Most of all, Becky loved and admired her daughter, Linda, and enjoyed their outings together.

She will be greatly missed by many and is survived by her daughter Linda Cooper and husband Dennis and grandchildren, Dennis Cooper and wife Sandy, and Stacy McCleaf and husband Zachary. Becky was “Grammy” to her five great-grandchildren Skylar, Piper, Maximus, Lachlan, and Keagan. She also was an aunt and leaves nine nieces and their families. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Elwood Grim, Esther Lemkelde, Dale Grim, and Delores Sheffer.

There will be a burial and celebration of life at a future date. Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover, is serving her family.
