Warren C. Hartman
EAST BERLIN – Warren C. “Pap” Hartman, 75, entered into rest at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at UPMC Hanover. He was the loving husband of Josephine C. (Kane) Hartman. The couple celebrated 50 years of marriage on March 29, 2025.
Born September 22, 1950 in York, Warren was a son of the late Glenn and Florence I. (Hoover) Hartman.
He retired from Lehigh Cement at the age of 64 and previously had over 25 years of service for American Chain & Cable Company in York. Warren loved working outside and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Warren is survived by three children, Jeanne M. Ware, Kenneth A. Hartman and wife, Kala and Steven L. Hartman; six grandchildren, Jessica, Kirsten, Rodney, Sawyer, Hunter and Gunnar; two great grandchildren, Hunter and Waylon; a brother, James Hartman; and a sister, Mary Groscost. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Glenn Hartman; and three sisters, Lori Hartman, Elaine Dunham and Patsy Rauhauser.
Services for Warren will be private with burial in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York. Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
