Warren C. Jenkins
 
YORK – Warren C. Jenkins, 94, entered into rest at 4:39 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 at WellSpan York Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Jean A. (Stambaugh) Jenkins.  They were married 60 years.
 
Born March 30, 1927 in Baltimore, MD, Warren was a son of the late Robert G. and Elsie (Winter) Jenkins.
 
Warren served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
 
He attended York College and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall College.
 
He retired in 1984 following 32 years of service for Caterpillar where he was an accountant.
 
Warren was a member of St. John Episcopal Church and Shiloh American Legion Post 791.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed reading and photography.
 
Warren is survived by two daughters, Cathy Hill and husband, Steven of York and Karen Kane and husband, Robert of Ormond Beach, FL; a son, Mark Jenkins and wife, Maribeth Mohr of Madison, WI; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Janice Buchanan of Hampstead, MD; and a sister-in-law, Jean Stambaugh of York.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Gary Jenkins.
 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Warren’s graveside service at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 in Paradise Union Cemetery on Church Road in Thomasville where veteran’s honors will be presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.  Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Eric Hillegas.  Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is serving his family.
