William T. Bennett
THOMASVILLE – William T. “Bill” Bennett, 52, entered into rest at 9:35 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his home. He was the loving husband of Corinda A. (McLeod) Bennett. The couple celebrated 24 years of marriage on July 19, 2021.
Born April 28, 1969 in Hanover, Bill was a son of William E. Bennett of Mission, TX and the late Esther M. (Painter) Bennett.
He graduated from Spring Grove Area High School in 1987 and had 32 years of service for Harley Davidson in York, retiring in April of 2021.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was an avid Penn State Football fan. Bill was a handyman around the home and enjoyed supporting and cheering on his children in their sports and activities.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by three children, Kayla N. Bennett and fiancé, Gabriel Fortier of Fort Hood, TX, Alexa R. Bennett and Dylan T. Bennett, both of Thomasville; a sister, Shirley A. Kifer and husband, Jeff of Williamsburg; father and mother-in-law, John “Jack” and Ruth McLeod of Dover; a brother-in-law, William McLeod and companion, Shona Altland of Dover.
Services for Bill are private at the convenience of his family.
