William R. Dawson

WELLSVILLE – William “Billy” R. Dawson, 62, of Wellsville, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at The Gardens at West Shore in Camp Hill, PA.  He was the husband of Robin L. (Clouser) Dawson.

William was born December 11, 1961, in York and was the son of the late William C. Dawson and Winifred L. (Moody) Dawson.

He owned and operated Dawson’s Auto Repair in Wellsville, PA, and was employed by Harley Davidson in York, PA for a short time.  William attended Mt. Airy’s Church in Wellsville, PA.

In addition to his wife, William is survived by his son, William Boudi Dawson, his brothers, John Ross of Carlisle, PA, Rick Ross of Newport, PA, and Tim Ross of Canton, PA, and his sisters, Sherry Dawson of York, PA and Teresa Ross of Wellsville, PA.  William was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Ross.

Memorial service for William will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Dover, PA.
