DOVER – Yvonne Michelle Kline, 45, entered into rest unexpectedly on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at her home.

Born March 8, 1981 in York, she was the daughter of Donald E. Kline of Dover and Sandra L. (McCredie) Burhans of Bluffton, SC.  She was the step-daughter of Karen Kline and Jeff Burhans.

Yvonne graduated from Dover High School in 1999, earned a bachelor’s degree from Penn State York and a master’s degree from Edinboro University in Erie.  She worked for Focus Healthcare.

Yvonne enjoyed the opera and sang with the Keystone Opera.  She loved supporting her son at his activities and sporting events and adored her beloved Pug, Orson.

In addition to her parents and step-parents, Yvonne is survived by her son, Michael Leopold Fernandez of Dover; sister, Tonya Mersiowsky and husband, Brian of York; nephew, Connor Lincoln; niece, Josephine Mersiowsky; step- mother, Carol Kline of Seven Valleys; paternal grandmother, Darthy Kline of Dover and maternal grandmother, Ruth Mazurek of York.  She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Raymond Kline and Joseph Mazurek.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Yvonne’s memorial service at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026 at Temple Beth Israel, 2090 Hollywood Drive, York, with the visitation to follow.  Officiating will be Lana Watson.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
