Yvonne D. Willour

DOVER – Yvonne D. (Rentzel) Willour, 87, entered into rest Thursday evening, March 6, 2025 at her son’s home with her family by her side as she took her last breath. 

Born August 23, 1937 in York, she was a daughter of the late Ralph H. and Janet (Hoffman) Rentzel.

Yvonne worked for GTE Sylvania, later Osram Sylvania, where she was a machine operator.

She was a member of the Shiloh American Legion Post 791 and West Manchester VFW Post 7374.  Yvonne enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the mountains, camping, shopping and snacks, especially sweets.

She is survived by four children, Shane E. Middleton of Dover, Mark T. Middleton of Wellsville, Daphyne J. Higgins of Wellsville and Julie L. McGill of Dover; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and niece, Kim Wolgamuth.  Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jeffrey Middleton and William Willour; two grandsons, Axton Willour and Justin Middleton; and her brothers, Ralph H. Rentzel, Jr. and Douglas H. Rentzel.

Following cremation, a time to celebrate Yvonne’s life will be scheduled at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
